Six things I miss about Minnesota.

I’m not especially homesick for Minneapolis, but there are things that I was sad to leave behind:

  1. Pizza Luce and Galactic Pizza. Actually, I just miss knowing where I do and don’t like to eat. Does every meal have to be an adventure into the unknown?

  2. MPR News, The Current, KFAI, Radio K, and the idea that radio is still relevant.

  3. Lakes and rivers that run through the city, rather than just surrounding it.

  4. My friends, although they don’t necessarily count for the purposes of this list, since I would like my friends even if they weren’t in Minnesota.

  5. Skyways.

  6. Autumn, when the snap in the air tells of a long winter that hasn’t quite arrived yet.

Although you left after we did, so maybe mentally it's like "hey, Josh is still in MN, how odd that he keeps posting about SF". Still.
