Resolving not to resolve.

After going a measly 2-for-7 on my resolutions for 2005, I’ve given up on making any for 2006. I’m just going to see what the new year brings and react accordingly. There are things I’d like to see happen in the next 12 months, but there doesn’t seem to be much point in pressuring myself to get things done. Rather than constantly being disappointed by my inability to stick with a plan, I’m going to just skip planning altogether and see what happens. I guess if there’s one resolution I do make, it’s to be less resolved and more flexible.

Or maybe this hangover has just sapped all the ambition out of me. Ack.

OK - maybe you don't remember, but you did make one resolution. A new bed. But hey, in the grand scheme of things, consumption based resolutions are easy.
