I was getting a little tired of the understated, under-designed style of Sediment (which could be described as either “spare and elegant,” or “mind-numbingly dull,” depending on how you feel about it), and found some inspiring ideas at the CSS Zen Garden, so I decided to do a quick little re-design of the site. Let me know if anything is broken, especially in IE5/Win, which I don’t have a way of testing. Also, let me know how ridiculously tacky you think it is.

hmmm. also, if you run the mouse over the small balloons in the upper left in just the right way, they disappear (though they'll come back if you run the mouse over the spot where they once were). And, yes, I clearly do have too much time on my hands.
