I spent a week wandering the streets of Dublin, walking in circles, relaxing in pubs, drinking Guinness, eating burgers and chips, and shopping for tweed coats.

Burrito & Orange

A sample of Dublin cuisine. (I didn’t eat here.)

Then I spent a couple of days in Boston and Cambridge, drifting through college campuses, catching up with old friends, and playing with their kids and cats. It was a pretty great vacation.

MIT, where those wacky pranksters often cause buildings to collapse into a gravitational wormhole.

Then I came home and spent the last weekend of my vacation nursing a crazy post-travel cold that bounced around between my sinuses and my chest. Delightful.

I am really not ready to go back to work in the morning. But I shall persevere.
