Even though I love my clunky, indestructible old cell phone, it was becoming increasingly clear that it was time to move on. Apparently, late in the year 2005, people can do amazing things with their cell phones that I couldn’t imagine doing on my old 1998 model: send text messages, take pictures, play games other than Snake, use loud obnoxious MP3s as ringtones, etc.

But now? I can do all these things as well:

It’s like living in the future! Now I just have to figure out how to work the darned thing.
