The Summer of 2005 will heretofore be known as my Summer of Overcommitment, what with working two jobs (Staying Sane as a Freelancer, Rule #7: don’t come home from a long day spent editing HTML and spend a long evening… editing HTML), posting to two weblogs (Getting a Grip on Blog-Hype, Rule #12: it should never feel like an obligation), and homosocial events that don’t even bear description (Really Being 30, Rule #16: binge drinking just isn’t fun anymore). So how do I spend the first free evening I’ve had in weeks? Playing World of Warcraft and clearing summer reruns off my TiVo. And it feels great.
